About the Lawyer
Phoenix "Nick" Wright is an easy going goofy guy. His relaxed attitude can lead to him being the butt of his friends schemes. Nick isn't afraid to let his sarcastic side show, although most his comments are often ignored by his peers. With his brief time studying art in college, Nick can be pretty harsh judging art. He is careful to say only constructive things though!
Phoenix believes in the innocence of his clients. His loyalty to others can end up being very risky to his career but, he is true to his cause.

Relationships
Mia Fey
Respecting her not only as his mentor, Nick gives her most of the credit for his success on cases. She taught him how to think outside the box and prove his (sometimes outlandish) claims in court. He doesn't understand much about her relationship with spirit channeling and the Fey bloodline.
Phoenix has a difficulty getting Mia's humor. It may be because he is dumb, it may be because Mia is so dry with her jokes.
Maya Fey
If Nick could get a better sidekick, he would say no but think about the offer every night before falling asleep. Its not like he dislikes Maya, Phoenix just wants to investigate a case without her stealing ice cream from the crime scene. Phoenix will agree Maya is amazing at spirit channeling, it always works when he needs Mia's advice the most. Due to her energetic, memey personality, her and Nick seem to work pretty well together. She brings the fire, Nick brings the fire department.
Phoenix does wish Maya cared more about the financial situations of her actions though.
Pearl Fey
With Pearly hanging around, Nick feels overwhelmingly anxious about her getting into something dangerous. No child should be near a murder investigation but Nick doesn't have enough funds for a daycare. Also he fears her ability to escape from a daycare.

Detective Gumshoe
The poor detective. Possibly Literally. Phoenix feels bad for how Gumshoe is treated at work and by others. Nick does wish the detective was slightly better at his job overall but, whenever Gumshoe is fired up, he is impressed with the results.
Miles Edgeworth
Its complicated. Nick respects the absolute shit out of the Prosecutor but, wishes Edgeworth wasn't so stubborn and difficult. If they could literally just talk?? He does owe being a defense attorney to Edgeworth and does want to prove to him Mr. Wright can be an amazing lawyer.
It would be neat if Phoenix and Edgeworth investigated a case TOGETHER and not against eachother. Maybe though updated autopsy reports can be handy.
